Zambia’s Kabange Mupopo through to the Finals of the 400m London 2017 IAAF Women’s race

Zambia's Mupopo has made it to the 400m IAAF final race. Her performance keeps getting better by each race.

Zambia’s Female runner Kabange Mupopo is finally into the finals of the International Athletics Association Federation of the 400m race.

She clocked 50.60 to qualify for the final medal race at the Championship taking place in London United Kingdom.

Ahead of her was American Phyllis Francis with a timing of 50.37. It looked like she would not progress but she shrugged off Jamaica’s Chrisann Gordon by 20 seconds.

During the semis Mupopo won heat three with a 51.09, to qualify. She finished ahead of Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson (51.26) and Latvia’s Gunta Latiseva-Cudare.

Mupopo has improved on her timings by over 50 seconds something that is good as she gets into the finals.
On the same evening Sydney Siame, the other Zambian sprinter qualified to the Men’s 200m race by a new national record of 20.29 beating off Kyle Greaux of Trinidad and Tobago.
